Everyblock
Everyblock is actually pretty cool site. With nothing but my address and the click of a search button I am instantly in the KNOW of everything that’s going on in my neighborhood. From who’s getting their liquor license, to what gas station got held up at gunpoint, I’m covered. (However, it is a bit discouraging to read about thefts and violence 2 blocks away from my home, but at least I am being informed, right?)
I was surprised when I saw that there is a “Lost and Found” section. If it weren’t there, I wouldn’t have looked for it, but it’s a really awesome perk and comfort. Hopefully I’ll never have to add to that myself, but seriously, I lose phones and iPods like chap stick. I’m excited to keep on the look out for the black kitten and gray tabby I read about. I hope they’re still alive. As for the phones and wallets…I don’t think you’re ever going to be found.
2 new Starbucks are opening on W Division Street. HOO-RAH! There’s really never enough places to get 1000 calorie coffee drinks.
No more armed robberies! Hand guns are not cool.

I'm 22 years old and I'm an aspiring writer. Some of my favorite reading materials include Cosmopolitan, Venus Magazine, and anything Brett Easton Ellis.If I don't make it as a writer, that's okay. My fall back plan is to become Britney's manager and bff.
I like food. A lot. Especially burritos. My favorite thing to do with food is photograph it...after eating it of course.
Some of my favorite past times include reading, playing soccer, hanging out with Boomer (my cat), indulging in enough pop corn to make me sick while watching any season of Futurama, and dominating at Mario Kart 64.
