Just CALL
I don’t get why people rely solely on communication via e-mail.
Suddenly I will have a friend or family member pissed at me for no reason. When I confront them about it they’re all like “well I e-mailed you like 2 days agoooo.” Wow. Good job. You E-MAILED me. If you really want to get the message across why don’t you just send me a letter in the mail mail. You know. The one that ISN’T electronic.
No, but really. If you need to get ahold of me, why don’t you just pick up that thing we call the PHONE and CALL me. A direct connection between the two of us can get things done a lot quicker. I am sick of people trying to tell me that I’m out of touch with them or I don’t get back to them quick enough. That’s not my fault. It’s yours for being inconsiderate of what I might be doing. I am no obsessed with e-mail. I only use it to communicate with my professors and receive Chicago Tribune updates. If you e-mail me on Monday there’s a good chance you won’t be hearing back from me until Friday.
Start calling me, or deal with that.
