Questions to Ponder
OK.
When I was in high school I used to always bring this question up to my friends. After getting into numerous arguments and being completely shut down, I told myself I would never bring it up to another human being ever again. But I can’t help it. I still think about it. The question burns my brain everyday.
Do people see colors the same?
For example. We all know the sky is blue. But is my blue your pink? From the day we were born our parents and teachers pointed to the color wheel and said “GREEN” or “PURPLE” and we’ve associated those names with those shades ever since. But what if everyone has been seeing them differently all along?! I know people can be color blind, and I know babies see the world differently…but the colors man. The colors. I just don’t understand how it’s safe to say that everyone sees the same ocean and trees when there’s billions of people in the world. One of them has got to see an orange sky, dammit. I’ve tried to do some research and I have found no definite answer. If you’d like to back me up on this, feel free. I’m sick of being alone with this theory.
One more thing. If you disagree, I don’t want to hear it. I’ve had enough of you skeptics.
